Whitefish Fillets - Skin on - 11 lbs

It was good, but I was expecting that the fish filets would be thicker. They aren’t so tasty as they usually are.

Their were 2filets at the very bottom of the box that were almost totally defrosted. We ate them that night. I recommend you line the bottom of you shipping box with dry ice.

We've ordered whitefish twice. It's so hard to find in most places. We have to drive an hour just to find some at a grocery store that's already smoked and packaged and it's not that good. We've been pleased with our order both times. It will continue to be an annual purchase for us.

Arrived on date promised, packaged well, all fish still frozen. Filets are large, only found 1 tiny bone in one of them so far. With Lent we are having fish every Friday, using various recipes Walleye suggested.

Not my fave fish but tasty! One fillet I measured was 10" and about up to 3/4 on an inch thick and so these are pretty big. I prefer them baked or broiled rather than fried. I remove the skin by holding the frozen fillet skin side up under running water for a few seconds and then pulling the skin off while fillet is still frozen. The skin can make the fish taste "fishy" to some people but removing it is no problem. Overall a good choice for baking. I suggest an online baked whitefish mayo recipe with panko bread crumbs. Recommended!

Thought I would try ordering, since the local grocer buys frozen fish and lets them thaw in a display case....cost is a little more, but shipping was fast, and all fillets remained frozen. Ate some the same night - no complaints at all. Will probably purchase again.

I have both good and bad results when ordering Lake Whiteish at restaurants but these are really nice fillets. Good size, well prepared and packaged and has the light delicious taste you expect from Lake Whitefish.

The pieces are each about a foot long or so with no scales and maybe one or two small pin bones. Taste is great! Definitely recommend.

Virtually boneless. I found 2 small bones while eating 3 or 4 fillets and have also encountered 2 or 3 scale flakes in that same batch. NO PROBLEM. I'm a satisfied customer.

We are first time buyers, and have been very impressed with our purchases. Everything arrived on time, solidly frozen and very clean. Now we are looking for additional recipes.

I usually only eat whitefish in the summer purchased fresh from the small fisheries. But I miss it during the winter. I’m glad I ran across this place. The fish arrived today quickly and was totally frozen like it just came out of the freezer. I baked a few fillets my normal way and it was delicious. Some of the best tasting I have ever purchased. I will definitely purchase again.!!!
