Frozen Ruby Red Rainbow Trout fillets-- 11 pound package of 8-10 ounce fillets. Frozen, farm raised and as close to wild-caught as you can find for rainbow trout.

These are from North America's first exclusively off-shore steelhead trout farm in Lake Huron. There is a lot of confusion with with rainbow trout and steelhead because they are the same species. These are considered Steelhead based on the pinkish/red color that they obtain from their diet. So the taste is similar to a milder salmon.

Rainbow Trout is the most popular freshwater fish in the US so we had to find the best source for our customers - give this a shot and you won't go back.

This ruby red rainbow trout is fantastic, amazing, mouthwatering, so yummy. You get the idea. And I simply fried it in a stainless steel skillet with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Yeah, delicious.

I actually hate doing this review, and especially being honest about it. But I will so as not to be selfish! This is one of the best tasting fish you will ever eat. I made ours using a pecan crusted oven baked recipe. This fish is 5 times better than many salmons and you will not be disappointed. But please don't go buy it all, I want more!
