Perch
Yellow perch has been expensive the past two years but at least we've locked in our inventory. Walleye and sauger are similar in taste and lower priced options if that price makes you pause. White perch is a different species but we're including here.
Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) is more known as flash frozen where each fillet is frozen with a slight water only glaze. You can grab any number fillets without thawing the rest for a meal - just like the picture shows - they are not frozen in a block.
Vacuum Packed perch are packaged in roughly one pound plastic with the air removed before they are quick frozen. Vac Pack will last longer in the freezer, but you need to thaw out the whole package. There will be more or less than a pound. They are not weighed individually.
