Whitefish Fillets - Skin on - 11 lbs

Whitefish is delicious. It had a few small bones so you need to be sure to watch for those. Other than that, the meat was terrific.

Looked good frozen, bit fillets were so thin. We did not want the skin on fillets. Tore the fillets. Not what we expected.

Fish are great, came well packed. Had free shipping but fed ex delivered a day later then promised, but fish we still frozen. We live in NC and received the fish in September, next time I will order in December and buy enough to last a year.

These are so well-boned that I didn't have to do anything to them. Very fresh tasting and just what I wanted.

At first I was a little worried because never had white fish before but let me tell you this fish is GREAT and the fish are very nice size.

This is probably my 4th of 5th order of whitefish filets from Walleye Direct and they continue to be outstanding. The package arrived quickly and the filets were still frozen solid. The flavor is outstanding! Unfortunately I don’t live in whitefish country anymore but thanks to Walleye Direct, I still feel like I do.

Dry and bland. No gastronomical falue.

I was looking for a place to order whitefish ,because I really like the taste especially pan-fried and it’s really high in omega-3.Fish came as promised completely frozen, well packed ,I am really happy that I found this company.Previously tried it fresh in WA state but was not able to find it in California .

The fish arrived as promised; however several were thawed but still cold. In my opinion you need to add more cold packs. Now for the fish, the fillets are large in size but somewhat thin. I deep fried my first batch and they were very good. You need to watch them closely so as not to over cook them. If you like whitefish these are a good substitute for the hard to get local fish.

Major issues with UPS and the total lack of leverage the company has with its carriers. Luckily the quality of the packaging saved the fish.

Recently ordered whitefish for the third time and we are eminently pleased with the quick delivery, still frozen fish, filet size and taste. We look forward to our taste of the north each Friday!

It was good, but I was expecting that the fish filets would be thicker. They aren’t so tasty as they usually are.
