Northern Pike fillets of various sizes -- 11 lbs. Wild caught Canadian fillets are individually quality frozen.

Among the leanest of freshwater fish the Northern Pike is also know as the Jax or Jackfish is a large predator fish and puts up a great fight when fishing. Pike tend to be bony and our team tries to remove them, but there will likely be a few bones on these. The pike's flesh is firm and flaky. It's also known for its excellent keeping qualities and many people pickle and can it.

These are 100% Canadian caught and Canadian filleted northern pike. They have never left North America.

If you like walleye, you probably will like these Northern Pike fillets, too. I purchased these along with the Beer Battered Walleye fillets.....both were excellent. The northern pike fillets took a little extra effort, because I had to bread them myself, but well worth the effort. I found no bones and the size of the fillets was perfect. Arrived promptly and fish were solidly frozen. Happy to recommend this product.

The fish came in a foam cooler box frozen hard and surrounded by dry ice. The northern fillets are individually frozen and all together (not individually wrapped) in one large plastic bag. We just open the bag, grab a couple, let them thaw in the frig and then season and bake in the oven. They look like the fillet below the y-bone so they are maybe 3/8" thick and about a foot long. We've found very few bones. Very nice fish.

My daughter takes the individual filets and seals them in an air tight food saver with lemon and herbs. When she is ready she uses her sous vide to cook. Excellent last year she tried the walleye and loved them.

Every year a member of our Canada fishing group takes a few northern and the next year has pickled northern for us.
