10 Pounds of Canadian walleye fillets with a special beer batter breading. The sizes of the fillets vary more than our raw frozen fillets but range from 3 ounces to 8 ounces.
You have been asking and after numerous taste tests we have finally found a pre-battered frozen walleye fillet we are proud to sell on our site. Technically this is a beer batter, but it might look more like a breading to some people. Just take a fillet and drop it onto some hot oil and get ready for a fabulous meal. These skinless fillets are from the same source as our regular walleye and now you don't have to mess with the batter.
For the walleye purists, I would recommend going with raw fillets so you can make your own batter or breading, this is more for busy people who want their walleye and don't want to deal with the mess.
INGREDIENTS: Walleye, Bleached Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Cottonseed and/or Sunflower), Ale(water, malted Barley, Hops, Yeast), Yellow Corn Flour (contains 2% or Less of: Modified Corn Starch, sugar, Salt, Spice, White Corn Flour Flavors, Leavening (Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate)
Deep Fry – Place frozen product in preheated fryer at 350 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
To Bake – Place frozen fillets on a lightly oiled sheet pan.
CONVECTION OVEN: Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes. Flipping halfway through with fan on high.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 14-16 minutes. Flipping halfway through.
NOTE: Cook to an internal Temperature of 165 degree minimum
