IQF Walleye Fillets - 11 lbs

I ordered 22 pounds of walleye fillets to be sent to Alaska. All fillets were frozen hard as a rock upon arrival and in great shape. I've always had great service from Walleyes Direct and would recommend them to anyone.

These Walleye were great and the shipping was prompt.

Order: 68067 Placed: 03/24/2022 Only issue was the packing, and some of the filets came through the wrapping, they weren't vacu sealed. They were still cold/frozen when they arrived in FL. Box was wet though. Cheese curds were still pretty frozen. You might want to put an important note for novices to order them already deboned or skin removed.

Fish did not appear fresh as advertised. Did not taste fresh. Appear to have been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Again our box of 11 lbs Walleye Fillets arrived perfectly - after going through Phoenix. So happy with this product.

This is the fourth time that we have purchased the IQF walleye fillets and they have been uniformly excellent. We are originally from Michigan (now in Florida) and these are just as good as those that we ate up north. Each time they have arrived still fully frozen so the packing and shipping are great. We always repack them in freezer bags and put them in the freezer to be sure that they last longer than if we left them in the original bags that they are delivered in.

As usual the package arrived as advertised. It was perfectly packed with more than ample dry ice to keep the fillets hard frozen. NO shortcuts here! They are delicious and generously sized.

I grew up in Minnesota. My Dad was an excellent walleye fisherman. Everyone at the rustic resort at which we stayed would come down to the small harbor to see what Gene had caught. He, quite often would have some beautiful walleye pike. My Mom would cook it up for dinner and it was so good. The walleye we received from Walleye direct is flash frozen so it travels well, arrives completely frozen and tastes so very fresh! Just like when I was young, more than a few years ago!

Again a Christmas gift to my parents. They said something like outstanding.!! Breaded or beer battered they said great best they had in awhile.. ( first time they ate walleye)

Never disappoint

Just the right size (other company I've used in the past....walleyes are too big), I like the flash freezing and that you can pull what you need. Will definitely make another cast in your direction.

Absolutely the best walleye I’ve ever had the privilege to eat! Didn’t know walleye existed till about 15 years ago, restaurant find and recommend to try. Only place I’ve had it, and far and few between as most don’t offer it on the menu. After having this I won’t have it out again! Such a better tasting fish.

I have been ordering this product for several years and it is consistently high quality. I have friends now who order or add to my order to get a full locker. I grew up on this kind of Great Lakes fish and am so very glad I found Walleye Direct. I always order the skin on since Walleye Direct sent me directions for VERY EASY skinning.

I recently ordered 11 lbs of Walleye Fillets. I worried a little bit because they would be sent to Arizona. But no problem, they arrived with dry ice still surrounding them and they were rock hard and large. And delicious! I would definitely recommend.

Thanks guys, just what we wanted and delivered to our door - without the trials of catching! The fillets are so uniform that it makes easy fixing for any number of guests. And to top it off, this is my wife's favorite meal - so you know the points I score each time I fry up a pan full.

Love these walleyes. Our second time purchasing. They arrived well packed and frozen solid. Although the plastic bag they were in was left untied and wide open.

This is my 4th order Walleye Direct and once again they have delivered a quality product. My filets arrived on time and frozen SOLID! The care in packaging was exceptional. walleyes were very good and fresh. ones i buy at local super market sometimes have "fishy smell". Ruby Red trout were also very good and tasty
