IQF Walleye Fillets - Skinless - 11 lbs

It’s been way too long since I’ve had access to nice Walleye fillets - These arrived fully frozen, were easy to thaw and prepare - and fried up wonderfully. Get the skinless, no hesitations - they were as delicious as they ought to be!!

I’ve eaten about 10 filets, and they have had a pretty strong fishy taste. The fish that I’ve bought in the past were phenomenal, but this particular batch isn’t very good.

My husband grew up on the Great Lakes and loves Lake Perch as well as Walleye. Whenever we make it back to the area we eat as much as possible but living in the beautiful PNW we don't have it locally. Finding Walleye Direct has been wonderful - we can now have fish fries and share with our neighbors, bringing back great childhood memories

The Walleye are so great. I pan fry them, 5 minutes each side with 2 TB of butter on medium heat. They taste just like we just caught them out of the lake. Yes, there are a few bones, but no one can get ALL the bones out. You just have to be a little careful. The bones will be in what I call the seams. If you separate the seams, then you can get the bones out by scrapping your fork along the side. We have only found between 4-6 per filet. The way the fish tastes, it is totally worth it.

I’ve ordered the perch a few times and have been more than satisfied. Since they were out of perch I got walleye fillets this time. Really glad I did, great flavor and nice sized fillets. The individual frozen fillets are really nice since you don’t need to thaw a whole package of fillets.

Got the IQF Skinless Walleye filets. Delivery was fast and in great condition. Had our first tasting, and the filets were really very good. We live in the desert Southwest, so walleye is a big treat! We lightly breaded them and oven-fried them.

We love fresh walleye and always had some stored in our feeezer from trips to Lake Erie. Now that we live in Arizona, it’s difficult to get good walleye. Walleye Direct has solved that problem for us. We ordered 11 pounds of IQF skinless filets and received them packed with dry ice and still frozen solid. Great company and excellent customer service. We recently ordered and received 11 lbs of IQF skinless walleye fillets. The fish flavor and freshness is amazing! We live in Arizona and the product was packed in 25 lbs of dry ice and when we received the fish, they were still solidly frozen. Excellent product and customer service. I will definitely use Walleye Direct again. 👍

Best walleye other than catching it yourself. Very good flavor not all clumped frozen together . No fishy smell when you opened the box. Fries really nice.Great quality walleye.

I live in NC and we do not have walleye in the part of the state that I live in so I had never been able to enjoy this delicious fish. We went skiing in Montana and I ordered a Walleye dish at the Cabin in Big Sky and it was amazing! When we got home, I started searching the internet for Walleye delivery and found walleyedirect.com. I Ordered 11 pounds of the IPF Walleye skinless fillets and it is amazing. We have eaten it every weekend since taking delivery. If you like fish, you will love walleye!

Beautiful filets. I cook with dry heat and olive oil. Add garlic powder canjun seasoning and when done a little heat. Thai chilli sauce. Fantastic.

I grew up in SW MN. Every summer we went fishing at either Millacs in MN or Owji in SD and caught walleyes! Light breading fried no better shore lunch or Friday dinner! I now live in VA without access to walleye waters. Ordered these 11#’s and they are exactly how I remember or better! (I don’t have to clean them) priced right and really great!

I ordered these 2nd day air instead of 2 day free shipping because I was worried the 11 lbs might be thawed. They arrived rock solid frozen dry ice still big pieces in the bag, took the fish out and left ice in shipping container and there was still ice after 3 more days! Wow. Big ICQ walleye filets, beautiful and we’ve fried, baked and broiled them. Super super delicious.
