Shipping Charges and Options

All charges are determined directly from the UPS website based on the customer’s address and the costs are passed directly on to the customer with no markup.  Because walleye is a perishable food item we recommend Overnight delivery and guarantee the product will arrive frozen.  However, due to the high shipping rates to some locations, 2nd day air is an option we also offer without warranty.  Using 2nd day air, WalleyeDirect.com assumes no liability for packages that arrive with unusable product and consider the warranty void.

US Orders

Packages are shipped out only on Monday and Wednesday with the exception of holidays in which case we ship on the next available business day.  We do not ship past Wednesday in case a package is delayed by UPS and  would not be able to be delivered over the weekend.

USA Next Day:
All USA Next Day orders will be processed and shipped out quickly. That means you will receive your order the next business day, from the date it's shipped, by 5:00pm.

USA 2 Day:
All USA 2 Day orders received will be processed and shipped out quickly. Typically these packages take 2 days, however, the service guarantee is 3 days or less. When counting shipping days, do not include the day on which it is shipped.

Packaging

WalleyeDirect.com has worked with many different packaging options to ensure that your walleye arrives fresh every time.  Our walleye fillets are in sealed in cryovac plastic in 3 pound packages, then surrounded in dry ice and frozen gel packs.  They are then placed in another plastic bag to prevent leaking before the 2 inch EPS foam that keeps them cool.  The outer shell is a plain cardboard box for shipping.  The packaging is designed to keep the walleye frozen for longer than the overnight delivery we recommend.  However, because of delays in shipping and other unforeseen circumstances, our warranty is only valid for overnight delivery.
